If you must give this speech, stick to very simple advice. The longer the club, the more you want to sweep it off the grass (or even hit up on the ball if it is a driver off a tee). The shorter the club the more you hit down on the ball. Make sure the club face points at the target at address and the body is aligned parallel to the club face.

Take Smierzy's advice and stay away from teaching if you don't know the basics.That would be as bad as telling someone how to cook when you couldn't boil water.

Swing type is determined by the physical design of each club. ( If you don’t understand that, then you don’t need to be trying to teach anybody )

to be honost. if you have to ask this then you shouldnt be instructing ANYBODY on how to swing.
